My passion for movement began as a young, aspiring, ballet student. My initial training was with Polestar Pilates. Since then I've continued studying Pilates and other movement modalities, for over 13 years, in London, Europe, Australia and NZ. I have had the privilege of ongoing training with the Garuda founder, James D'Silva, at the Garuda Academy in London. I am now a Master Trainer facilitating Garuda Teacher Training Certification. My yoga study is with Magnus Ringberg; Physiotherapist and yoga teacher from Sweden and is rooted in evidence-based training and physiology. I teach a 360 degree practice, encouraging students to move with versatility, precision and awareness of the important transitional movements. My teaching career has covered NZ, Australia, London and France; training everyone, from professional ballerinas to elite athletes, I'm experienced in post-surgical care and woman's health; working alongside other medical and sports professionals. Quality teaching requires knowledge, experience, and skill, as well as empathy and compassion. Respecting an individuals architecture and history, whilst providing the best tools and belief in their movement. I am grateful for the global community of movement professionals that I have learnt from, teach and continue to train alongside.
Finally, more than anything else ... I have an infinite passion for my work, because I simply love sharing movement!
