Jason Milne was first introduced to yoga as a way to relieve chronic low-back pain. After experiencing the tremendous physical benefits of practicing yoga Jason immersed himself in the study and teaching of the therapeutic, spiritual and esoteric aspects of the science of yoga. He has been practicing yoga for more than twenty years and he has been teaching yoga professionally around the world for the past fifteen years. Jason has gratefully devoted his life to the study, practice, teaching and sharing of the science of Tantra Yoga.
Jason completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course in 2006 with Frog Lotus Yoga, located in Massachusetts, USA, focusing on ashtanga / vinyasa styles of practice. In 2007, he completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training course with Agama Yoga, located in Thailand, focusing on hatha yoga practices. Jason also completed over 1,000 hours of study and graduated from the 24 levels of hatha and kundalini yoga training at Agama Yoga in 2010. In 2014, Jason graduated from the 500-hour therapy yoga training program and the 500-hour Tantra training program at Agama Yoga. He completed the 300-hour Universal Yoga training with Andre Lappa in 2017. In addition, Jason has studied with several teachers in India, including studying at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India, and with various teachers in America.
Jason is a registered E-RYT 500 yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance. In his fifteen years of teaching yoga, Jason has been the manager / lead teacher in four 500-hour, three-month, yoga teacher training programs with Agama Yoga, as well as being the co-teacher in seven other Agama Yoga 500-hour teacher training programs. He has also been the co-teacher in seven 200-hour YTT's with Tribe Yoga in Rishikesh, India and with Anna Sugarman Yoga in Thailand. Jason was the lead teacher in five yoga teacher training courses and several Tantra workshops at Vikasa Yoga on Koh Samui in Thailand, from 2015-2017.
In 2012, Jason created, managed and taught at the Ananda Yoga Sanctuary which is a not-for-profit, free yoga school for the local community on the island of Maui in Hawaii. Prior to becoming a yoga teacher, he earned a Master of Education degree in secondary education and was a secondary school teacher in the USA for five years.
Jason has taught in over 25 yoga teacher training courses and worked with thousands of students from all over the world. He is currently teaching workshops and training courses internationally to share yoga with anyone who has an interest in self-development.
Jason has devoted his life to the study, practice and teaching of Yoga and his thousands of hours of practice have given him a deep understanding of the many techniques and benefits of yoga.
He utilizes his extensive experiential knowledge of the science of yoga to create classes, for absolute beginners to advanced practitioners, that facilitate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing through emphasis on working with the subtle energies of the body and nature to balance all aspects of each individual.
Jason uses a unique combination of humor, energy transmission and sensitivity to students' needs to guide students on a journey of self-exploration and self-fulfillment.
His teaching empowers people with busy, modern lives to learn transformative and efficient techniques and practices that enable people to balance and heal themselves with a minimum of time and effort.
Having trained in yoga therapy, Jason can create practices that are specifically designed to meet each individual's needs and goals.
Jason enjoys sharing a wide variety of yoga styles, including: yin, hatha, chakra, vinyasa flow, alignment-focused, power, kundalini and Tantra. His classes often blend a combination of techniques from various forms of yoga to create sequences that guide students to flow into stillness, with a strong emphasis on breathing practices and meditation to balance and purify the entire being.
He feels a deep sense of gratitude to the art and science of yoga that enabled him to heal himself and his mission is to share the transformational teachings with those who want to fulfill their innate potential and step into their full power physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Jason currently travels around the world teaching yoga teacher training courses, retreats, workshops, yoga therapy sessions and a variety of yoga and meditation styles. He is grateful for the blessing of studying and teaching yoga that transformed his life, as well as the lives of countless students around the world.

FLOWING INTO STILLNESS
This class incorporates a variety of practices that go beyond the physical body, into the subtle layers, to create a deep state of relaxation, emotional balance and mental calmness.
We start with invigorating breathing techniques that awaken the energy and mind. Then we enjoy a gentle physical warm-up before moving to a dynamic, flowing sequence that focuses on physical strength, balance and flexibility, with a continued emphasis on deep, energizing breathing throughout these first two stages.
After getting the body and energy moving, we gradually slow down the practice with a meditative sequence that guides us deeper into the internal awareness of the subtle aspects of ourselves while consciously guiding the energy into specific chakras / energy centers.
The practice then transitions to an extended pranayama / breathing practice that takes us on a journey through our chakras to purify, energize and balance our entire system. This prepares us for the culmination of our yoga practice, which is the final guided meditation, that facilitates an enhanced state of mental clarity while gently opening our hearts to a state of gratitude.
The class closes with a nourishing, guided final relaxation in Savasana.
