Rachel Sundström, has been a dedicated yogini for over eighteen years and draws her inspiration from yoga, meditation and the surrounding Swiss nature. Rachel continues to share her love of yoga through teaching from her beautiful yoga studio in the heart of Herrliberg or offering Yoga Retreats in Ibiza and when she is not on the yoga mat she is tapping into her creative spirit.
"As she is a very visual person she takes inspiration from things she see around her in nature, whilst traveling or wherever she is and uses these ideas to create a mala intuitively. She also enjoys creating custom malas for individuals based on their needs and intentions as well as teaching others to create their own sacred mala. Personally she prefers malas that are knotted in between each bead as she finds this easier during meditation. The knots symbolise the divine link between all beings in the universe strung together on one universal thread in a circular pattern. This represents the cycle of the universe, without a beginning or an end, the constant cycle of birth and death."
